This is a rare opportunity to be part of Stagecraft and Wellington Repertory Theatre’s double-bill production of these two exciting adaptations of Hilary Mantel’s epic Man Booker Prize winning novels centred around Thomas Cromwell, a central and intriguing figure in the court of Henry VIII.

The casts features all the best known figures from the period: Thomas Cromwell, Cardinal Wolsey, Henry VIII, Anne and Mary Boleyn, Katherine of Aragon, Princess Mary, Thomas Cranmer, Sir Thomas More, and Jane Seymour, as well as many other political figures, family members and staff.

There are some really substantial and demanding roles for actors to get their teeth into, as well as a wide variety of smaller roles, so there’s plenty of opportunity to be involved.

We anticipate having two complete casts for these epic productions – this will offer a unique opportunity for actors to work together with their counterpart in the other production to create character consistency. The two plays will alternate during the week, with double bill performances on Saturdays and Sundays.
