Summary: Flora Poste discovers a new branch of her family tree; the one with all the nuts.

Aunt Ada Doom, who once saw something nasty in the woodshed, rules Cold Comfort Farm with an iron fist. Reuben tills the land, waiting to wrest it from his father Amos, a preacher of hellfire and brimstone. His wife Judith has an unhealthy obsession with their other son Seth, who just wants to be a movie star. Poor daft Rennet keeps throwing herself down the well and flighty Elfine has designs on the local squire. Whatever is Flora, with nothing but a hundred pounds a year and a slender ankle, to do with them all?

Based on the classic 1930s novel by Stella Gibbons, Cold Comfort Farm is a riot of eccentric characters, theatricality and plain good fun.

Tickets: $22 waged, $20 unwaged, $18 each for groups of 10 or more, $15 Stagecraft members. Special two-for-$22 ticket deal on Thursday 6 November.
