Summary: Described as 'A landmark play in the history of New Zealand theatre', 'A quantum leap forward in New Zealand drama' and 'Still regarded by many as the greatest New Zealand play ever', Foreskin's Lament is a drama set in a rugby changing room after a practice and at an after-match party.

Its theme is the conflict between fair play and winning at all costs, as the non-conformist lead character struggles to reconcile his values with those of his rugby-playing conservative mates.

Foreskin's Lament was a breakthrough play for author Greg McGee and has become a staple of New Zealand theatre.

Dates and times: Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 May 2011 at 8 pm, Sunday 22 May at 3 pm, Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 May at 6.30 pm, Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 May at 8 pm

Ticket prices: $22 waged adults, $20 seniors, unwaged adults and tertiary students, $15 Stagecraft members and high-school students with valid ID. Two tickets for $22 on the first Thursday for all ticket categories. Early bird discount: book for the first week of the play and get $2 off the full ticket price ($20 instead of $22).
