Author: Louis Nowra
Summary: Melbourne, 1971. Lewis, a recent university graduate, has been employed by the local psychiatric hospital to direct some of the patients in a dramatic production. It's a chance for Lewis to gain some experience and money, and it's an experiment in developing the social skills and confidence of his charges. What he doesn't expect is that one of the patients, Roy, has already decided that the group will stage Cosi fan Tutte, Mozart's ambitious three-hour-long comic opera. A pity, then, that none of the cast can speak Italian - or sing opera!
